8-Sheet Cross-Cut Paper & Credit Card Shredder — Heavy Duty, White
Product description
This shredder includes a removable shredder head (motorized cutting unit) and a 3.7 gallon pull-out collection bin. Its exterior is durable molded plastic while the cutting mechanism uses hardened steel blades to produce cross-cut particles approximately 0.2 x 0.7 inches (5 x 18 mm), meeting P-4 security classification.
It will accept up to 8 sheets of 20-pound bond paper in a single feed and will destroy one non-metal credit card at a time. The cutter also handles staples and small paper clips. For safety and motor protection, the unit is rated for a 3 minute continuous run followed by a 30 minute cool-down; if the run limit is exceeded the shredder automatically shuts off to prevent overheating.
Operation is through a four-position mode switch (auto/on, off, reverse, forward) and three LED indicators that report power, overload and overheat conditions. The top shredder head lifts off the bin for fast disposal and cleaning.
As part of factory quality checks, each unit is tested before shipping; occasional tiny paper fragments may be present on arrival. Important cautions: do not use aerosol cans near the unit, avoid shredding metal credit cards, and consult the user manual, troubleshooting guide and any instructional videos before first use. Product dimensions: 12.76 x 7.28 x 14.09 inches (L x W x H).

Good buy, though bin is small
This is my second one. It’s well made and good for home use, but the collection bin could be larger. Still does the job reliably.

Easy to use and handy to empty
Top motor unit lifts off the collection bin easily and the handle makes dumping simple. It handled two file drawers of documents when spaced out to avoid overheating. Solid little machine I’d recommend.

Sturdy and kept up during heavy use
I ran it hard during a big shredding session and it showed no signs of struggle. Don’t overload it, but it handled repeated runs well and felt durable for the price.

Replacement worked as expected
My first unit arrived dead and I returned it, but the replacement runs perfectly. Cross-cut pieces are effective. I usually feed 3–4 sheets at a time and have had no problems. It’s a bit noisy, but overall I’m very satisfied.

Does paper well — know its limits with metal cards
I bought a few units from this maker and they work great for paper. One older unit failed because someone fed metal cards into it; that’s user error, not the machine. This latest 8-sheet model has worked fine for my home office and does what it’s meant to do.

Nice compact size for a home office
Fits well in a small workspace and was simple to assemble. I like the cross-cut feature for added privacy. I haven’t filled the bin yet, but it’s been convenient so far and not overly loud.

Outstanding value and dependable performance
I’ve owned many shredders over the years and this one surprised me. It chews through stacks reliably with fewer jams than previous models I tried. Price was fair and it handled long sessions surprisingly well. The cut size and continuous operation for normal household use have been excellent.

Perfect for light-to-moderate home shredding
Setup was easy and it handled a large backlog of documents with few issues. It’s compact, holds a lot for its size, and destroyed cards and junk mail cleanly. It’s a bit loud, but that’s expected for a shredder. So far it meets my needs.

Useful features, minor quirks
Picked this for the dedicated card slot and price. It shreds envelopes, cardboard, and paper without slowing. Manual forward/reverse requires holding buttons. The 30-minute cool-down limit and lack of included oil are my only real gripes.

Compact 6-sheet model — reliable and secure
I’ve used the 6-sheet version for months and it’s a handy tool for my home desk. It fits under a table, gives true cross-cut security, destroys credit cards cleanly, and the pull-out basket makes emptying easy.

Reliable light-duty shredder
Almost a year in and it’s been dependable, emptied about once a week. Works well if you don’t overload it—remove larger staples and keep to 3–4 sheets for smooth operation. Outlasted a pricier unit we owned.
