Xbox Wireless Controller — Elite Series 2 (Black)
Product description
Designed with feedback from competitive players, the Elite Series 2 controller focuses on precision, adaptability, and comfort. Included in the package are six thumbstick toppers, four paddles, two D-pads, a carrying case, and a charging dock so you can store and power the controller between sessions.
The controller offers adjustable-tension thumbsticks to change resistance for steadier aim and more consistent input. Three-step hair trigger locks shorten trigger throw for faster firing when competitive timing matters. You can swap thumbstick caps, the D-pad, and the rear paddles to match different game genres and hand preferences.
Onboard memory stores up to three custom configurations; a dedicated Profile button lets you flip between them instantly and choose the Xbox button illumination color. Battery life is rated up to around 40 hours on a charge, and the shell features wrap-around rubberized grips and reinforced components engineered for extended use.
Connectivity options include Xbox Wireless for consoles, Bluetooth for mobile and laptops, and a USB‑C connection for wired play. A 3.5mm headset jack accepts most compatible wired headsets. For deeper adjustments—button remapping, dead-zone tuning, and performance tweaks—use the Xbox Accessories app on consoles and Windows PCs.

Solid pro controller — nice aesthetics
Comfortable grips and an attractive white/silver look. Adjustability is excellent, lighting and stability are good, and customization options add to the premium feel.

Pricey but performs well
Took a bit to adapt from cheaper pads, but it pairs reliably with my PCs and stays connected. The included case is sturdy and travel-ready. It’s an investment, but I expect it will last a long time.

Missing parts out of the box
Some accessories that should have been included were not in my package. Disappointing — check contents immediately.

Arrived like-new but no warranty period
Device shipped quickly and the box looked brand new. Everything worked and all accessories were present, but the unit arrived with the warranty already expired. It wasn’t an issue for me, but worth noting.

Ongoing RB button failure and warranty headaches
My RB stopped working and I’ve sent it back multiple times. Replacement requests have stalled and communication from support was slow; emails asking for address updates went unanswered. Function still fails on multiple returns, making the warranty process frustrating.

Powerful features but some limits
Great to move stick-click functions to paddles and toggle between wireless modes easily. However, you can only map controller inputs to paddles—no direct keyboard key bindings by default, which is limiting unless you use insider workarounds.

Looks better in hand and very premium
Beautiful in person and high-quality. Great for FPS titles; lots of customization. I bought extra paddles separately to complete my setup at a lower cost and it performs like a full Elite 2.

Replaced my worn controller — a couple of setup tips
I upgraded after my older controller started double-pressing. First try charging via a USB hub failed — the controller kept disconnecting; plugging straight into a PC USB port fixed it. Also, install the Microsoft Accessories app to customize buttons and profiles; that made a big difference for me.

Third time’s the charm — hopefully fixed QC
I’ve gone through two earlier units that had unresponsive face buttons via warranty swaps. This latest unit arrived working flawlessly. Not sure if production improved or I got lucky, but it’s great so far.

Upgraded from the original — feels familiar
My original Elite lasted years but the grip began separating. The Series 2 keeps a similar shape but adds three-stage trigger stops and adjustable stick tension, which I really like. Try one in person if you can.
