Solita Becomes One of Anthropics’ First Authorized European Resellers on Amazon Bedrock

Solita, the AI and data transformation company, has been granted authorized reseller status by Anthropic, enabling Solita’s customers to purchase Anthropic’s Claude AI models directly through Solita on Amazon Bedrock while meeting EU data residency requirements.

This places Solita among a select group of European partners able to offer Claude with enterprise-grade controls and European data storage via AWS, supporting organizations that require strong compliance, security, and data residency within the EU.

Under the agreement with Anthropic, Solita can resell Claude AI models to customers via the AWS Bedrock API, either as part of Solita’s resale of AWS cloud capacity or within Solita’s own AI-related offerings. Claude is a family of state-of-the-art large language models (LLMs) developed by Anthropic. Anthropic requires partners to complete a thorough validation process to qualify for its reseller program.

Support for EU data residency

When Anthropic’s Claude models are used directly from Anthropic, the models are hosted globally and do not offer an option for EU-only data residency. That limitation is a critical barrier for public sector organizations and businesses in highly regulated industries where data must remain within EU borders.

Solita’s reseller agreement for Claude models enables customers to meet EU data residency requirements while still using advanced Claude models. This removes a major commercial and compliance obstacle for European organizations wishing to deploy advanced large language models in production.

By combining Claude with Solita’s EU-based cloud, software, data, and AI expertise, customers can adopt leading AI technology through a single trusted partner operating under EU jurisdiction.

For European businesses, this means:

  • Anthropic models hosted with EU data residency using AWS infrastructure where compute and models reside in Europe.
  • No routing of data to Anthropic’s U.S. infrastructure.
  • A faster path to production through streamlined contract, billing, and vendor management.
  • An enterprise-grade solution with governance, security, logging, and monitoring provided by a Cloud MSP partner like Solita.

“We are proud to be one of the first European resellers of Anthropic. This removes a significant commercial barrier for organizations that want to use Claude models with European data residency and allows Solita to offer Anthropic Claude as a standalone service or integrated with our broader AI offerings and accelerators,” said Solita.

“Finding structured, repeatable ways to work and deliver value in the new AI era is a challenge most of our customers face. We look forward to continuing that journey together with Anthropic, Amazon, and our wide network of cloud, data, and AI partners,” added Ossi Lindroos, CEO of Solita.

From LLMs in European cloud to tailored AI accelerators

Anthropic’s Claude is currently the only frontier AI model available to customers on all three major global cloud platforms: AWS (Bedrock), Google Cloud (Vertex AI) and Microsoft Azure (Foundry), all platforms Solita works with.

This gives Solita’s customers the flexibility to deploy Claude within their existing cloud strategies, complemented by Solita’s AI accelerators and consulting services to speed the path to production.

Amazon Bedrock is a platform for building generative AI applications and AI agents at production scale and is used by more than 100,000 organizations worldwide.
