Amazon Web Services (AWS) has introduced a new category in its Marketplace that allows customers to purchase third-party AI services directly through their AWS accounts. This addition reflects rising enterprise demand for AI-driven technologies and simplifies acquisition and deployment from within the cloud environment.
SentinelOne is among the first cybersecurity vendors to secure placement in the new category. The company is offering its solutions—Singularity Cloud Security (CNAPP), AI SIEM, and the flagship Purple AI—to AWS customers seeking advanced AI capabilities for threat detection, investigation, and response.
SentinelOne and AWS: Expanding Collaboration
The move highlights the deepening relationship between SentinelOne and AWS. The two companies have collaborated previously, including SentinelOne’s role as a launch partner for AWS Security Hub and participation in the AWS ISV Accelerate Program, which supports secure software migrations for customers.
At SentinelOne’s own OneCon conference last year, the companies announced a Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA). A notable outcome of that agreement was the integration of Purple AI—SentinelOne’s AI analyst—with Amazon Bedrock, AWS’s platform for delivering multiple foundation models. This integration enables organizations to select the foundational model that best fits their needs when using Purple AI.
Expanding AI Security Tools in the AWS Marketplace
By listing Singularity Cloud Security and Singularity AI SIEM in the new AI Agents & Tools category, SentinelOne is responding to growing demand for AI-driven security solutions in the enterprise market.
Both AWS and SentinelOne view AI as a critical factor when organizations evaluate and purchase software. Making these AI security tools available within the Marketplace is intended to help AWS customers discover, evaluate, and deploy advanced protection directly from their cloud environment without complex procurement steps.
Purple AI: More Than an Assistant
At the core of SentinelOne’s offering is Purple AI, which the company presents as a true AI analyst rather than a conventional assistant. Purple AI is designed to deliver fast, precise insights and has performed strongly in demonstrations. SentinelOne emphasizes, however, that real-world performance in live operational environments is the definitive measure of effectiveness.
Simplified Access for AWS Customers
For AWS users, the Marketplace integration means that the SentinelOne Singularity suite can now be purchased and deployed directly through AWS Marketplace. This simplifies procurement and accelerates time-to-protection, giving organizations easier access to advanced cybersecurity and AI tools at a time when the threat landscape continues to grow more complex.
