SD/TF Memory Card Reader Adapter for iPhone — Lightning & USB‑C
Product description
This adapter is a pocketable card reader designed for photographers and mobile users who want straightforward access to camera media. Plug the reader into your iPhone or iPad, open the Photos app, and after a few seconds tap Import to copy photos and videos. No companion app is necessary.
The unit accepts both standard SD/SDHC cards and TF/microSD cards, so it handles footage from DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, action cams, and drones. It will not work with Wi‑Fi enabled SD cards that rely on their own wireless transfer apps.
A female USB port is built into the adapter to act as an OTG camera interface. That lets you connect digital cameras, USB flash drives, card readers, or low‑power peripherals such as MIDI keyboards or certain audio devices — provided the attached device draws less than 500 mA. It is not compatible with printers or powered hard disk drives that require higher current.
The adapter features a dual‑connector arrangement: a built‑in USB‑C plug for modern phones, tablets and computers, plus a removable Lightning converter for older Apple mobile devices. This makes it practical for moving files between iPhones (including recent iPhone 15–17 models), iPads, Android phones, Macs, and Windows PCs while maintaining OTG functionality.
Included in the package is the SD/TF card reader with USB‑C connector and the detachable Lightning adapter. The housing is compact and lightweight for easy transport and everyday use. Two‑way transfers are supported on iOS 13–18, so you can import camera files to your device or export movies, music, and documents (MP4, MP3, PDF, Office files, etc.) back onto an SD or TF card.

Note: Wi‑Fi cards won’t work
I couldn’t test it because my SD card is the wireless type. If you rely on Wi‑Fi SD cards, this won’t read them.

Handy for DSLR photo import
Did exactly what I needed — copied photos from my DSLR to my iPad. Also used it in a pinch to charge my phone by connecting a cable through it, which was handy when I forgot my charger.

Perfect for iPhone 15
Plugged into my iPhone 15 and it behaved exactly as expected — Photos showed an Import prompt and transfers were fast. The SD slot is snug, so press carefully, but it worked flawlessly.

Small and works great
Perfect for transferring camera shots on the spot. Photos imported quickly and it fits easily in a small bag. Tip: double‑check card orientation if it doesn't read at first.

Functional but feels budget
Read microSD, full SD and a USB stick with no issues; the phone takes a few seconds to recognize them. Transfers are fine, but the plastic casing feels a bit flimsy. For casual use, it’s great value.

Game changer for event videos
I use an action camera at dog competitions and this made it simple to pick the clips I wanted, transfer to my phone, edit and post during the event. It connected reliably every time and saved me a lot of waiting.
