Acceptable but Flawed
Solid wood with a pleasant finish, but some screw holes were roughly drilled with sawdust left in them. No spare fasteners were included. Instructions were vague, so I had to guess assembly order and re-tighten a few times; it took about 30 minutes. Given similarly priced options that arrive assembled, I wouldn’t buy this again. The exposed side hardware isn’t very attractive.

Attractive and Practical Bench
Very happy with this bench. The cushion is firm and looks good. The shallow compartment under the lift-up seat is perfect for gloves and hats. Built one in about 30 minutes and the second in 15; instructions were helpful.

Well Constructed and Stable
Chose this because it’s solid and comfortable to sit on. The upholstery arrived flawless and the lid opens smoothly. Assembly was straightforward with all parts present. The internal storage is small but handy for chargers, sunglasses and similar items. Shoe shelves are useful—measure your area since it’s compact but accurate to the description. I would recommend it.
