Pre-Seasoned Carbon Steel Wok, 12.6 in. — All Cooktop Compatible
Product description
What’s included: one 12.6-inch pre-seasoned carbon steel wok with an acacia wood main handle and an additional helper grip for two-handed lifting.
Materials and construction: made from thin-gauge carbon steel for rapid, even heating. The cooking surface and exterior are high‑tempered and nitrogen-treated to create a food-safe finish; the pan arrives pre-seasoned and is free of fluorinated nonstick coatings. The wooden main handle is shaped for a cool-to-touch grip during stovetop use.
Size and performance: 12.6 inches in diameter with a traditional rounded profile for tossing and quick, high-heat searing, stir-frying and sautéing. Its lightweight build heats quickly and responds well to flame adjustments, making it suited for fast Asian-style cooking as well as general stovetop tasks.
Compatibility and limits: compatible with gas, electric and induction cooktops. Not designed for microwave ovens or for use in conventional ovens — avoid exposing the wooden handle to open oven heat.
Care and seasoning: hand wash only with warm water and mild soap; dry thoroughly. Oil lightly and heat to maintain the seasoned surface — season before first use and after each cooking session to preserve the patina and prevent rust. Avoid dishwashers and abrasive scrubbing to prolong life.
Pros
- Quick-heating, responsive carbon steel
- Pre-seasoned surface ready to use
- Cool-touch acacia wood handle for comfort
Cons
- Requires regular hand-seasoning and care
- Wood handle not oven-safe
- Some users report coating issues
VerdictA dependable 12.6-inch carbon steel wok that brings quick heat response and a traditional rounded shape to home kitchens. The pre-seasoned surface and acacia wood handle make it ready to use straight away while keeping handling comfortable. It works well on gas, electric and induction cooktops, but isn’t intended for microwaves or oven use. With proper care — hand washing and occasional oil season

Excellent wok; not the cheapest, but you can tell it’s built well.

Exactly what I wanted
This is exactly the style I prefer. Carbon steel at the right price and a wooden handle to boot. Feels sturdy and cooks very well.

Solid wok but hefty
Excellent wok, but heavy. Smaller cooks may struggle to lift it even with the helper handle. I enjoy using it despite the weight.

Perfect for an older cook
Bought it for my elderly mother and she’s thrilled. It’s light, heats up quickly and is excellent for stir-fries if you know how to toss. Note: woks perform best on open flames — flat cooktops may heat them unevenly.

Coating separated during cooking
On the third meal the black seasoned layer came off into our sauerkraut. Owned less than a month and it ruined the dish. Hoping it was a one-off defect.

No chipping, cooks well
Performs great, no flaking coating, minimal sticking, good size, rinses clean and the handle is sturdy. Works well on gas.

Food sticks despite following instructions
I treated the wok as directed, but after a few uses food sticks to the bottom. I wash with mild soap, rinse with warm water, don’t use the dishwasher and use plastic utensils. Yet it still adheres — disappointing.

Performs like a professional pan
Very pleased! Large enough for a typical household, well-balanced and responsive to flame changes. With the right recipes and a powerful gas burner it cooks like a restaurant wok.

Restaurant-style results at home
The wok looks great and the cooking surface is smooth and sturdy. It heats evenly so stir-fries, noodles and fried rice come together fast. With good oiling it’s basically nonstick and cleanup is easy. Solid construction and takes high heat like a pro wok.
