NAVEX Launches AI Usage Training Tool for Organizations

NAVEX has launched a new training tool designed to help organizations understand and manage AI use, tailored to meet the requirements of the EU AI Act.

The continued rapid development and deployment of AI-driven tools means office workers increasingly rely on AI in many daily tasks—often without being fully aware of it.

This trend comes at a time when AI technology is being subject to stricter regulation through various local and supranational laws and frameworks.

To use AI both effectively and in compliance with regulations, organizations need greater knowledge and awareness of safe and responsible use.

A platform for responsible AI use

That is the focus of NAVEX, which has launched the training platform Artificial Intelligence at Work for companies and employees across the EU region. The platform aims to give staff a clear understanding of when and how AI tools are used at work and what to consider to improve outcomes while avoiding ethical or security risks.

“As AI tools become increasingly integrated into everyday processes, an organization’s commitment to doing business the right way becomes more important than ever. While AI can create significant opportunities in the workplace, it can also introduce serious risks. Training on appropriate AI use is therefore critical to ensure employees understand how these tools should be used responsibly, effectively and ethically,” says Jen Farthing, General Manager of Training Content, NAVEX.

The platform provides comprehensive guidance on everyday AI use at work and includes training modules covering:

  • Risks and best practices for using AI in the workplace
  • Ethical considerations when using AI, including fairness, discrimination, transparency and accountability
  • General guidelines for data privacy, security and compliance
  • An organization’s responsibilities under the EU AI Act when deploying high-risk AI systems
  • A foundational understanding of what AI is, how it works and its various applications
  • An overview of machine learning, natural language processing (NLP) and automation tools
  • AI tools employees may encounter at work and common use cases—such as automating workflows and analyzing data
