MSI MAG MT101DG Dual Gas-Spring Monitor Stand (17–32 inch, 22 lb)
Product description
The MSI MAG MT101DG is a dual-arm monitor stand engineered to hold two screens between 17 and 32 inches, with each arm rated to carry up to 22 pounds (≈10 kg). The arms are formed from premium aluminum and metal brackets for durability and a refined black finish that blends into most workstations.
Installation hardware for both clamp and grommet mounting is included. The clamp fits desktop edges from 10 to 75 mm thick, while the grommet option works with desk cutouts from 10 to 45 mm. Each arm ships with quick-release VESA plates compatible with 75 x 75 mm and 100 x 100 mm hole patterns, plus the screws and mounts needed to attach displays.
Movement is powered by adjustable gas springs, allowing smooth height changes and fine positioning. The stand supports tilt up to +80° / -45°, swivel up to +90° / -90°, and full rotation up to +180° / -180°, enabling portrait and landscape orientations as well as broad viewing-angle adjustments. Cable-management channels are integrated along the arms to keep wiring neat. MSI provides a three-year coverage period for the product.

Confidently supports heavier displays
Feels very sturdy and secure, even with an older 32" monitor that weighs around 7 kg.

Simple and effective
Does exactly what it’s supposed to.

Great performance but one flawed screw
Overall a strong product — I bought two and one had a screw that stripped and wouldn’t tighten. Otherwise both look great and worked well.

Loose base screw — safety concern
The monitor arm arrived with a defect: the base screw won’t seat fully and the piece remains loose, making the arm unsafe to use with a screen attached.

Solid metal construction with good adjustability
Robust mount with metal arms and brackets. Plenty of adjustment points and it includes bolts if you prefer to bolt through the desktop. Clean appearance and reliable build.

Very sturdy and moves effortlessly
Excellent movement and strong build. I don’t use the RGB, but the arms glide smoothly and setup was straightforward. No drilling required and it freed up desk space while improving cable routing.

Tilt alignment issue — possibly defective
The unit feels sturdy and moves well, but the plate that attaches to the arm sat angled upward about 45°. I had to apply extreme force to level it and then tighten the spring to keep it straight. Might be a defect.

Handles large curved monitors easily
Well made and simple to assemble. I’m running a 32" and a 34" curved panel and the arms hold them steady. RGB lighting is a nice extra.

RGB doesn't sync with Mystic control
RGB lighting won’t pair with MSI Mystic for some reason, while other mounts do. Frustrating if you expect full ecosystem control.

Missing parts and wrong packaging
Item arrived in a different box and was incomplete — missing screws, a support plate and the base cover.

Worth the investment for smooth adjustments
I tried a cheaper alternative but this one feels superior right out of the box. With two 27" displays the micro-adjustments are easier and the arms stay put. Ideal if you rotate a monitor for vertical work.
