LUXPRO Retro-Style Battery Lantern — Blue Camping & Emergency Light (2-Pack)

Product description

Adjustable output and color temperature: Each lantern uses an easy-turn dial to adjust brightness from a very low 5 lumen glow up to a maximum of 265 lumens. The same control toggles between a warm, cozy tone and a cooler white, so one unit can serve as a nightlight or a bright work light.

Battery-powered convenience: The pair runs on four AA batteries apiece, so no charging cables or wall power are required. Swap in fresh cells and the lights are ready for camping trips, vehicle emergency kits, or power outage situations.

Classic styling, modern components: The set includes two blue lanterns with a retro metal silhouette and modern LED internals. Rugged metal hangers let you suspend a lamp from a tent pole, hook, or branch, while the metal-and-plastic construction balances vintage looks with durability.

Runtime and weather resistance: On the lowest warm setting these LEDs can run for up to about 200 hours; on the highest setting expect roughly 2 hours 15 minutes of continuous output. The housings meet IPX4 splash-resistant standards, making them suitable for light rain and damp outdoor use.

Size, weight, and warranty: Each lantern measures about 6.5 inches tall and 4.5 inches wide and weighs roughly 0.81 pounds, so they’re simple to pack or store. The product comes as a two-pack and is covered by LUXPRO’s 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects.

Pros

  • Smooth dimming and warm/cool light options
  • Runs on common AA batteries — easy to swap
  • Compact, hangable, and splash-resistant

Cons

  • Not rechargeable by itself
  • Top brightness runtime is limited
  • Feels lightweight to some users

VerdictThese retro-shaped LED lanterns blend classic styling with practical performance. The smooth rotary dimmer offers fine control between a soft warm glow and a bright white beam up to 265 lumens. Powered by four AA cells, the pair is ready for off-grid use or emergency kits without relying on outlets. They’re light, hangable, splash-resistant, and deliver impressively long low-mode runtime for gentl

  1. Kindle Customer 5/5

    Handy for outages

Small but puts out a good amount of light. Bought for power outages and we’re pleased with the performance.

  2. LesBooks 4/5

    Looks nice but feels light

Attractive design but the lantern feels a bit flimsy without batteries installed, which I hope improves once weighted. I like the option of battery or USB power. I wish the lowest setting was dimmer — it’s a bit bright for a night light.

  3. Brian N 5/5

    Better than expected for camping

Exceeded my expectations. The variable output helps manage battery drain, and the top control knob feels well-made. Built to shed water so a rainy walk won’t ruin it. Compact design is great; I’d like a larger version too. Batteries are practical for remote trips where recharging isn’t possible.

  4. 🌺 Frugal Shopper 🌺 5/5

Attractive and works well so far

First impressions are good. I wanted something on hand for storm outages and this looked both cute and useful. The pastel color is a nice touch and the lamp puts out more light than I expected. You can switch between warm and white tones and tweak brightness. The box even led me to believe it could charge phones and accept USB, which surprised me after opening.

  5. Di 3/5

    Only one worked on arrival

The lamp looks beautiful and seems well-regarded, but only one of the two arrived working and I requested an exchange. The LED seems a bit weak — if you need a very powerful light for frequent outages, consider something rated higher than 300 lumens. I gave three stars for the attractive design.

  6. Beverly Phillips 5/5

    Useful and bright

Bright, lightweight, and easy to use for outages or camping. Good value and the retro look is a plus.

  7. GnSLngr Grl 5/5

    Solid buy

Small units but they provide plenty of illumination. The ability to change brightness and color temperature suits different preferences. They arrived with batteries and were ready to use; instructions were straightforward. Already useful for storm season.

  8. Mandie 5/5

    Surprisingly capable little lantern

Compact and lightweight — perfect for packing into a camping bag or keeping in the car. The collapsible form and built-in handle make it simple to hang in a tent. It uses batteries so no outlet is needed; I left it on all night with no problems. It lit our entire 4-person tent well enough for games and reading. The adjustable knob helps you dial in softer or brighter light.

  9. X 5/5

    Love this little lamp

I really enjoy it — adjustable brightness and both warm and bright tones available. A fantastic compact light.

  10. Starofthesnow 5/5

    Stylish ambient light

Nice-looking lamp that’s lightweight and offers several brightness levels. Creates a cozy, romantic atmosphere.

  11. Thierry 5/5

Big performance in a small package

Ideal small size for tent use, the metal finish enhances its vintage feel, and the adjustable beam goes from a warm nightlight to a clear white without glaring. The sky-blue color suits it well.
