Eye-friendly LED array and shade
This clip-on book lamp houses 20 premium LEDs arranged in two offset rows beneath a 2.5×0.9 inch diffuser. The wider shade spreads light evenly across a page to reduce hotspots and help minimize eye fatigue during extended reading sessions.
Multiple color temperatures and dimming
Choose from five color temperatures: 1800K for warm, sleepy ambiance; 2500K for relaxed reading; 3400K for general home use; 4500K for focused tasks; and 6000K for bright study light. Five preset brightness levels cover a 3–100 lumen range, and the unit supports stepless dimming so you can fine-tune output from near-dark to full brightness.
Rechargeable power and indicators
A built-in 1200 mAh lithium battery runs up to about 90 hours on the lowest setting and about 12 hours at maximum output. The lamp recharges via USB-C and includes four small LEDs that display the remaining charge so you can see when to top up.
Clip, freestanding use, and flexible neck
The metal clip opens to roughly 1.5 in (4 cm) and is lined with soft rubber pads to grip books, shelves or surfaces without damage. It also functions as a small freestanding bedside lamp when set upright. A stainless-steel gooseneck rotates a full 360° and bends smoothly to aim light precisely where you need it.
Size, weight, controls and package contents
The lamp folds compactly to about 3 × 1.8 × 1.5 in and weighs approximately 2.7 oz (76 g), making it easy to tuck into a bag or pocket. Three tactile buttons separately control power, color temperature and brightness; a memory function restores your last setting on power-up. What’s in the box: 1 × Glocusent reading light, 1 × USB-C charging cable, and 1 × user manual. (Wall adapter not included.)

Truly dimmable and easy to use
Finally an LED lamp that goes very dim and also gets very bright. Yellow tones work well as a nightlight; white is useful for focused reading. Three separate buttons make it straightforward. I’ve bought several already.

Better than pricier alternatives
Tiny but powerful. The simple brightness and color controls beat a fancier model I bought earlier that didn’t give enough usable light. USB-C charging and solid build are bonus points. Battery lasts a very long time on high; charging takes longer than expected, which likely means a bigger cell.
