IT company byBrick is taking a new approach in Stockholm by bringing its specialist consultants together under a new company, byBrick Tech. At the same time, a renewed business strategy is being launched to offer better career development and cohesive environments for technical experts, with the aim of becoming an even stronger provider of the most challenging development assignments.
A systems development partner with several tech companies on its client list
Last spring, byBrick acquired Axakon Consulting, a systems development partner with many tech companies among its clients. With its deep expertise in JavaScript, modern .NET development and AI, the company has further broadened byBrick’s consulting delivery. Now CC Tech Consulting is being acquired as well; together with byBrick Axakon and byBrick Development, they form the foundation of the new constellation. Emil Grönvall, former CEO of byBrick Axakon, will lead this initiative too.
“It’s difficult to grow a consultancy without compromising culture and independence. With our new model, we centralize support functions in Stockholm and let our specialist companies focus wholeheartedly on building strong expertise, culture and knowledge sharing. We’ve sketched this idea for many years, so it’s incredibly exciting to finally have the chance to realize the concept,” says Emil Grönvall.
Initially, two specialist companies will be established under the byBrick Tech umbrella. Lars Svensson from CC Tech will lead business units focused on .NET and Microsoft technologies, while Martin Taillefer will take responsibility for the company of JavaScript specialists.
As CTO at Axakon, Martin has played a key role over the past five years. Martin is also an entrepreneurial spirit who has previously started several companies and held leadership positions in startups.

This move is perfectly timed, as we see more and more satisfied clients wanting to give us end-to-end responsibility for projects,” says Martin Taillefer.
Lars Svensson founded CC Tech Consulting together with Patrik Nyman as recently as last year. Prior to that, his background is mainly in larger organizations, including senior roles at Sogeti and SEB IT, and he has also been active in the startup scene as both founder and leader.
“I see this as an opportunity to continue the journey that Patrik and I started, but now in a larger and more exciting context. We have an incredibly capable team, and we are convinced that through this initiative we can deliver even sharper expertise to our customers, take on bigger projects and, above all, create more value,” concludes Lars Svensson.
