This cleaner is a specially formulated, non-ammoniated jewelry solution supplied in an 8 oz bottle. The kit includes a wire dipping basket to keep pieces together during soaking and a small bristle brush for loosening trapped grime. The liquid is non-toxic and designed for use on non-porous precious metals and gemstones.
It’s safe for gold, platinum, diamonds, rubies, sapphires and similar non-porous stones; do not use on pearls, opals or other porous materials. To use: place items in the included basket and submerge for about three minutes. Agitate gently or brush stubborn areas, then remove, rinse under lukewarm water and pat dry with a soft cloth. For maximum shine, follow with a soft polishing cloth. The basket and brush make at-home cleaning straightforward and help you avoid frequent trips to a jeweler.

Won’t remove silver tarnish
Doesn’t clean silver (not listed for silver). The protective seal was a pain to remove and splattered liquid when opened. It cleaned my gold and diamonds but the packaging issue makes me hesitant to reorder.

Reliable cleaner for many pieces
Arrived quickly and protected. I’ve repurchased this over the years. It brightens both fashion and fine jewelry — just don’t soak plated items too long and avoid pearls or opals. The tiny soak tray and brush are handy, though I keep a larger soft brush on hand. The protective seal is very stubborn to remove, which can be messy.

Best for gold and gemstone pieces
I used it on vintage pieces: gold items and gem pendants regained their luster. Silver chains looked good at first, but the solution seemed to lose effectiveness after repeated use. I’d recommend it primarily for gold with or without stones.
