Belkin BoostCharge 15W Qi Wireless Charging Pad with 5ft USB‑C
Product description
This Qi-certified wireless charging pad is designed for simple, cable-free top-up charging at home, the office, or on the go. The package contains the 15W wireless charging pad and a 5 ft (1.5 m) USB‑C to USB‑C cable so you can power the pad right away; a compatible USB‑C power supply is required to deliver the pad's full output.
Power delivery follows Qi v1.3 profiles: up to 15W for EPP/BPP-capable devices, 9W for certain older Samsung models, 7.5W for iPhones, and 5W for other Qi devices and many wireless earbuds. The pad reports charging status via a subtle LED so you can confirm when your device is receiving power. For best results, use a USB‑C adapter that meets the pad’s voltage/amperage needs.
The charging surface supports charging through most protective cases up to about 5 mm thick, and the unit meets manufacturer safety standards with protections for temperature, current/voltage, overload, and foreign object detection. The housing (excluding cable and silicone parts) is made with a minimum of 75% post‑consumer recycled plastic and the product ships in fully plastic‑free packaging.
Specifications include Qi v1.3 certification, support for BPP and EPP charging profiles, and broad compatibility with many modern phones and earbuds. The product is covered by a two-year limited warranty and includes a connected equipment protection policy. The slim, low‑profile form factor is intended for bedside, desktop, or travel use and fits easily into bags or drawers.
Pros
- Compact, easy to carry
- Supports up to 15W for compatible devices
- Built-in safety features and case-friendly charging
Cons
- Full output requires a suitable USB‑C power adapter
- Charging speed varies by device and case thickness
- Some devices require careful placement to maintain contact
VerdictA travel-friendly, Qi-certified wireless pad that covers the basics: plug in the included 5 ft USB‑C cable, place a compatible phone or earbuds on the disc, and charging begins. It supports higher-power 15W EPP/BPP charging for newer Android phones, scaled rates for older devices and iPhones, and continues to charge through thin cases. Built-in safeguards and recycled-plastic construction make it

Power negotiation can be finicky
The pad is picky about the power adapter. Some chargers won't negotiate the higher voltages and it stays at 5V/1A. With a high‑capacity USB‑C supply it will use higher voltages, but I couldn't get it to exceed ~13W in my tests. Similar behavior to another pad I own.

Intermittent charging with case
I used this with an iPhone 17 Plus and an Otterbox. It worked fine at first but became unreliable after about a week. It would indicate charging, then stop before the battery moved. Finding the sweet spot with the case was fiddly. My return window closed so I couldn't replace it, but be cautious if you use a bulky case.

Does the job reliably
Always worked for me. Worth getting one.

Gets hot
Se calienta mucho; tanto el teléfono como el cargador alcanzan temperaturas altas. Tengo otro cargador inalámbrico de otra marca que calienta menos y carga más rápido. No lo recomiendo.

Useful backup charger
Performs as expected. Slower than wired charging but very handy when a USB port is unreliable.

Phone overheated during use
My iPhone 15 became very hot within minutes and the pad paused charging citing temperature. It wouldn’t resume, so I returned it.

Charges my Pixel 8a
I was skeptical about wireless charging but this pad is convenient for a desk spot. I don’t need a stand—just a flat pad to place my phone on while it charges. Works well for my needs.
