Aura Business Partners with TD SYNNEX to Secure BYOD Environments

Aura Business has entered a strategic partnership with TD SYNNEX to help resellers and managed service providers (MSPs) address the growing security risks associated with BYOD — Bring Your Own Device.

Through this partnership, Aura Business’s identity-centered security platform will be made available across TD SYNNEX’s network of resellers and MSPs in North America. The solution is designed to protect corporate access from employees’ personal devices without requiring the company to manage the device itself or access the user’s private data.

Demand for secure BYOD solutions has surged as hybrid and distributed work models become standard. New analysis from Omdia finds that 65 percent of MSPs report customer demand for BYOD management services, while 55 percent have experienced at least one security incident tied to personal devices in the past two years. Despite the risks, only 24 percent currently monitor employees’ personal devices actively.

Aura Business positions its platform as a complementary layer to traditional IT and security tools. The focus is on reducing identity-based threats such as phishing, account takeover and stolen credentials in modern hybrid environments.

“Through the TD SYNNEX partnership, we can give MSPs an easier way to protect their customers without adding complexity to their security stack,” said Jason Coville, head of MSP at Aura Business.

TD SYNNEX also highlights the collaboration as part of its broader investment in cybersecurity and modern workplace solutions.

“Adding Aura Business to our portfolio strengthens our ecosystem’s ability to help customers improve efficiency, differentiate in the market and drive future growth,” said Scott Young, SVP Vendor Management at TD SYNNEX.

The solution is available immediately through the TD SYNNEX Marketplace.
