Orange Cyberdefense Expands in Sweden, Appoints Elin Mårtenzon as Head of Southern Region

Cybersecurity firm Orange Cyberdefense is making an ambitious push in southern Sweden and today announces that Elin Mårtenzon has been appointed head of the company’s Region South. The company already holds a strong position in southern Sweden, with solid growth, a robust organization and a concentration of expert resources. Under Elin Mårtenzon’s leadership, the region will accelerate both growth and innovation in one of Sweden’s most dynamic areas. Elin Mårtenzon brings nearly twenty years of experience leading sales teams, scaling organizations and driving digital transformation across multiple industries. She joins Orange Cyberdefense from her previous role as head of sales.

“We are very pleased to have Elin at the helm of this important southern region,” says Kåre Nordström, Country Manager for Orange Cyberdefense Sweden. Cybersecurity is one of the most critical issues of our time. Under Elin’s leadership we will not only support organizations throughout their security journeys but will also better combine our global expertise with the very strong local presence in the Malmö area.

Region South has been given a clearer, independent identity after previously being linked with Region West. The new structure puts full focus on the southern Sweden initiative, where demand for advanced security solutions is growing rapidly. Elin Mårtenzon will lead an organization of about 200 employees, as several key functions—such as the Security Operations Centre, support functions, global research and global operations—together with the Swedish headquarters are located in Malmö.

“It is incredibly inspiring to step into this role right now,” says Elin Mårtenzon. “The threat landscape is evolving at breakneck speed and our customers need solutions that are equally fast and innovative. With Orange Cyberdefense’s strong culture of innovation, world-class research and a passionate team, I look forward to taking the region to the next level and becoming an even more important partner for our customers.”
