Dassault Systèmes and Nvidia Partner for Large-Scale Industrial AI

Dassault Systèmes and Nvidia Industrial AI are at the center of a new long-term strategic partnership designed to accelerate the adoption of mission-critical artificial intelligence across industry. The collaboration aims to develop a unified industrial AI architecture that merges physics-based models with real industrial data to enable reliable, scalable AI systems.

The partnership was unveiled at Dassault Systèmes’ annual design and engineering conference, 3DEXPERIENCE World, and brings together Dassault Systèmes’ Virtual Twin technology and Nvidia’s AI infrastructure, open models and accelerated computing platforms. Together the companies will develop so-called Industry World Models to support the design, simulation and operation of complex industrial systems at scale.

These shared models are being built to underpin AI solutions that rely on scientific validation, physics-based simulation and real-world industrial data. The objective is to make artificial intelligence more predictable, trustworthy and useful throughout the industrial lifecycle — from product development and testing to production and autonomous operation.

As part of the collaboration, Dassault Systèmes will deploy AI factories via its cloud brand OUTSCALE. These AI factories are a central element of the company’s sovereign and sustainable cloud strategy and will run on Nvidia infrastructure across three continents. The solution enables advanced AI workloads on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform while meeting data privacy, intellectual property protection and regulatory sovereignty requirements.

Nvidia will likewise employ Dassault Systèmes’ model-based systems engineering to design its own AI factories. Work will begin with the Rubin platform and will be integrated into Nvidia Omniverse blueprints for large-scale global deployment of AI capabilities.

The partnership also creates new applications across multiple industry sectors. In life sciences and materials research it aims to accelerate the discovery of new molecules and materials by combining BIOVIA and Nvidia BioNeMo. In engineering and design, SIMULIA will be paired with CUDA X libraries to power advanced AI-driven simulation, optimization and design workflows.

In manufacturing, the collaboration addresses autonomous factory operations through DELMIA together with Nvidia Omniverse. Concurrently, agent-based Virtual Companions are being developed on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, supported by Nvidia Nemotron models, to assist engineers, operators and decision-makers in real time.

Leading industry organizations have already expressed support for the initiative. Among them are Bel Group, OMRON, Lucid and the US-based National Institute for Aviation Research, all of which see significant potential to accelerate innovation, sustainability and autonomous manufacturing through reliable industrial AI.

Executives from both companies describe the partnership as an important step toward the next generation of industrial AI, where virtual twins and scalable AI infrastructure combine to create more robust, efficient and sustainable industrial systems.
