Marianne Brandered Appointed CEO of Netset

Netset, part of the software group Progrits, has appointed Marianne Brandered as its new CEO. She will lead Netset’s next stage of growth and accelerate the company’s international expansion efforts.

Extensive experience in software and retail

Marianne Brandered brings broad experience from both the software and retail sectors. Her background includes product management at Visma and most recently at IKEA, where she worked on developing global solutions. She has also held leadership roles in private equity–backed growth companies.

Brandered succeeds Sam Aston, who, by mutual agreement with the board, steps down after two years as CEO.

Support from Progrits leadership

“Netset is in a strong phase of development both in product and market,” says Björn Ekström, Group CEO of Progrits. “Marianne’s experience in senior product roles and scaling businesses makes her well equipped to lead Netset into its next phase.”

Netset’s market position

Netset delivers market-leading B2B e-commerce solutions for the IT and telecom sectors across Europe. The company employs about 60 people and is headquartered in Malmö.

Marianne Brandered’s priorities as CEO

“What attracted me to Netset is the combination of a strong product and clear potential for international scaling,” says Marianne Brandered. “I look forward to further developing the product, creating long-term value for our customers and strengthening Netset’s competitiveness in new markets.”

She also stresses the importance of teamwork: “With the talent and commitment within the team, we have every opportunity to succeed. I’m also excited to contribute to the Progrits network, where we can support and develop each other across the group to become even stronger together.”
