Samsung Unveils 2025 Hotel TV Lineup

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., a global leader in display technology, announced today that it will showcase its much-anticipated 2025 hotel TV lineup at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2025 in Barcelona. The new series blends refined design, enhanced entertainment features, and unified platforms, reinforcing Samsung’s commitment to elevating premium hotel experiences.

“Our 2025 hotel TV range is designed to elevate the guest experience with personalization at its core,” says Hoon Chung, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. “Hotels can tailor room ambience with The Frame’s Art Mode, offer seamless streaming via Apple AirPlay and the newly added Google Cast, and enable convenient control of the room environment through SmartThings Pro — all customized to individual guest preferences.”

Enhance hotel aesthetics with The Frame

Samsung’s 2025 lineup introduces the acclaimed The Frame (model HL03F) as a hotel TV option, delivering stunning 4K QLED picture quality with vivid colors, deep contrast, and lifelike images for every room. The Frame also maintains an elegant, sophisticated appearance. With its innovative Art Mode, hotels can personalize guest rooms and common areas by displaying a curated selection of modern or classic artworks — or bespoke images featuring the hotel’s brand — whenever the TV is not in active use.

Paired with an anti-reflection matte display that minimizes light interference and a slim-fit wall mount that positions the TV flush against the wall like a genuine artwork, The Frame elevates hotel interiors with a distinctive blend of luxury and personalization.

As an official sponsor of Art Basel, The Frame reflects Samsung’s dedication to pairing cutting-edge technology with timeless design, setting a new standard for hotels aiming to deliver personalized and visually compelling experiences to their guests.

Samsung’s 2025 hotel TV series, together with the 2024 HBU8000 model, raises in-room entertainment by supporting Google Cast for secure, seamless streaming directly to the room. Guests can effortlessly cast their favorite content from both Android and iOS devices to the TV without additional dongles or complicated login steps. The connection process is quick and user-friendly, often using QR codes for pairing.

“We are excited to bring Google Cast to Samsung TVs, enabling simple content sharing for both hotels and consumers,” says Tiger Lan, Google’s Senior Director of Engineering for Multi-Device Experiences. “Whether guests are enjoying their favorite shows and playlists on a hotel TV or streaming at home, this collaboration ensures reliable, personalized access to their content wherever they are.”

The range also supports Apple AirPlay, allowing hotel guests to securely connect their iPhone and iPad devices to the in-room TVs for a smooth streaming experience.

Unlike traditional setups, both Apple AirPlay and Google Cast can be used independently of third-party system integrator (SI) requirements, simplifying installation for hotels and reducing infrastructure complexity.

Streamline hotel operations with a connected ecosystem

Samsung’s 2025 hotel TV series introduces a fully connected ecosystem designed to improve operations and enhance guest experiences. Running on Tizen 9.0, guests benefit from an intuitive interface that makes it easy to access streaming apps, smart room controls, and personalized services, creating a more enjoyable and connected stay.

For hotel operators, LYNK Cloud offers a powerful cloud-based solution that combines customizable content delivery, remote device management, and OTT entertainment. Integrated e-commerce features let guests perform service interactions such as ordering room service, booking hotel amenities, and accessing a digital concierge. At the same time, hotel managers gain actionable insights to tailor guest content and roll out targeted campaigns across rooms or properties worldwide.

SmartThings Pro further strengthens IoT connectivity by enabling secure, centralized control of Samsung Hospitality TV, smart signage, HVAC systems, and more. With a scalable dashboard and customizable APIs, SmartThings Pro lets hotel IT teams monitor performance, manage devices across multiple locations, and integrate seamlessly with existing systems.
