Sigma Technology and GO Nordic Unite to Support Karlskrona Businesses with Workforce Recruitment and Retention

Sigma Technology and Go Nordic have launched GO Connect — a private, local initiative designed to address one of Karlskrona’s biggest near-term challenges and opportunities: workforce supply and attracting new residents.

Sigma Technology, a leading provider of engineering consulting and IT solutions in Sweden, is pleased to announce its collaboration with Go Nordic to support talent attraction and retention in Karlskrona.

Malin Andersson, Unit Manager at Sigma Technology, says:

– We are very proud to begin this collaboration with Go Nordic. GO Connect is a unique and valuable initiative that will help us attract and retain top talent in Karlskrona. We have extensive experience recruiting people from around the world, but have faced challenges in ensuring they settle in and remain in Karlskrona. We are therefore particularly pleased to be the first client to use GO Connect’s products and services. This partnership will help us deliver a professional welcome and better support new employees throughout their transition.

Go Connect

GO Connect brings together a range of business services on a single platform. The platform includes a dashboard for documents, products and services — for example, ordering work permits, arranging pick-up services, and introductions to relevant networks and authorities.

For incoming talent, GO Connect provides personalized support and hospitality throughout the employment journey. Services include a Contact Center for questions, pick-up and welcome services, and clear guidance through administrative procedures to simplify settling in.

The platform also features a social component, GO Social, where employees can find like-minded colleagues and integrate more easily into their new city. Features such as a shared calendar, blog and newsletter are designed to engage and inspire both new and existing staff.

Terje Viblom Pedersen, CEO of Go Nordic, comments:

– Sigma Technology has been central in the process leading up to and during the development of the Go Connect platform. I am extremely pleased that the company has chosen to become our first client. This is an important validation of our efforts to support companies in attracting, welcoming and retaining employees in Karlskrona.

GO Nordics’ ambition is to extend this support to other cities facing the same challenges, helping communities build stronger talent pipelines and smoother transitions for new residents.
