Since 2017, Webhallen has hosted Streamhjälpen, a 144-hour charity livestream centered on gaming, the games industry and everything around it. All proceeds go directly to Musikhjälpen. As in the original concept, the hosts are placed in a glass studio and the broadcast runs live 24 hours a day. During the week, the hosts are visited by people connected to gaming — including game developers, suppliers of gaming accessories, influencers, esports professionals and many others. Naturally, there will also be gameplay, challenges and plenty of surprises throughout the week.
For the first time, the studio will feature five hosts, allowing for more activities and enabling guests to appear at any hour. The studio itself has been made more ambitious than ever, with clear influences from gaming culture. The stream will be available on several platforms, although the primary channel and chat will, as usual, be on Twitch.

“We have always aimed to make each year better than the last, and this year I believe we’ve taken big steps that will be clearly noticeable to our viewers. As always, the focus is to raise as much money as possible for Musikhjälpen, and our goal this year is clear. We will exceed one million,” says Webhallen’s CMO, Mikael Karlsson.
The production is, as in previous years, carried out in collaboration with Qruxel Productions in central Stockholm. The team has been working at full speed for a long time to ensure every detail is in place.
“We love producing Streamhjälpen at the end of each year, and this time the team has put together one of the most ambitious productions I’ve seen in this context. More guests than ever, more hosts and an absolutely wild setting. It’ll be exciting to see people’s reactions when we go live,” says Aaron Vesterberg Ringhög, COO at Qruxel Productions.
The host lineup includes well-known names such as Marcus Toth, a familiar figure in the esports scene, and Matilda Smedius, who has lent her voice to characters like Brigitte in Overwatch. They are joined by Amanda “Ebiisan”, Jonathan “Chosenba” and Lin “SWE_Beforewefall”, the latter returning after appearances in Streamhjälpen 2022 and 2023. All hosts are experienced streamers, handpicked to ensure the production maintains a high standard this year as well.
Streamhjälpen 2024 starts on Monday, December 9 at 20:00 and concludes on Sunday, December 15 at 20:00. Watch the stream on twitch.tv/webhallen or find more information on the campaign page.
