What you receive
The kit contains 500 fold-over knot covers divided into five plated colors: KC gold, silver, gunmetal black, bronze, and bright gold. There are approximately 100 pieces of each color in the clamshell pack.
Material and finish
Each tip is stamped from iron and finished with electroplating to provide a metallic coating. The plating improves appearance and resistance to wear compared with bare metal.
Dimensions and fit
Individual bead tips measure about 8 mm (0.31 in) in length and approximately 4 mm (0.16 in) across. The drilled hole is roughly 1.5 mm (0.06 in) in diameter, making them compatible with cords and threads that are less than 1 mm (0.04 in) thick.
How to use them
To apply, slide a tip onto the cord end so the knot sits inside the concave portion, then fold the two small flanges over and squeeze them together with pliers until snug. Once closed they conceal the knot and provide a loop for attaching jump rings or clasps.
Additional notes
Counts are assembled by hand so slight variations in piece totals per color can occur. These components are small — keep away from children and pets to avoid choking hazards. Manual measurement may produce minor size variances.
