WELIDAY Wooden Challenge Coin Shadow Box — 5-Row Display
Product description
Craftsmanship and materials
The WELIDAY challenge coin display is built from solid wood with a matte black finish for a classic look and long-lasting protection. The front closes with a clear acrylic panel that offers a bright, unobstructed view of your coins; the panel arrives with a protective film that should be peeled away before use. A vintage-style latch keeps the door closed while adding a decorative touch.
Interior layout and capacity
Inside are four removable shelves that create five display rows when installed. Each shelf has two grooves to hold coins in place, and the interior is lined with black velvet to enhance presentation and reduce movement. The layout makes it simple to rearrange rows to match coin thickness and personal preference.
Size, mounting and handling
The case measures 13.7" x 11" x 2.3" and the coin slots are approximately 5mm wide. It can be hung on the wall or stood on a tabletop using the included metal stand. Because some slots are relatively wide, bulkier coins may look best when positioned at a slight angle. The unit ships with 360° protective packaging to minimize transit damage.
Versatility and occasions
Designed to display challenge coins from military branches, police, fire departments and other organizations, the rack also works for medals, sports tokens and commemoratives. It makes a considered gift for Veterans Day, retirements, birthdays and holiday occasions—an elegant way to honor service and achievements.
Pros
- Durable solid wood frame
- Clear acrylic door with secure latch
- Adjustable shelves and velvet-lined grooves
Cons
- 5mm slot width can let very thick coins tilt
- Acrylic arrives with protective film that must be removed
- May require minor shelf adjustment for oversized pieces
VerdictA sturdy, attractive option for organizing and showing challenge coins. The solid wood build and high-clarity acrylic door present collections nicely while the removable shelves and velvet backing let you arrange pieces securely. Note the 5mm slot width means very thick coins may sit at an angle; a tabletop stand or wall mounting gives flexible installation. A thoughtful gift for service members a

Good case, some fit issues
Nice case, but some of my thicker coins sit unevenly in the slots. I remedied it by widening a couple grooves.
