AI Action Summit: A Global Gathering of Key Stakeholders
On 10 and 11 February 2025, France will host the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Action Summit at the Grand Palais. This high-profile event will convene heads of state and government, leaders of international organizations, CEOs of companies large and small, representatives from academia, non-governmental organizations, artists and civil society members. The summit aims to address major challenges including sustainability, ethical AI development, the future of work, the global effects of AI technologies and international AI governance.

“I am honored to be among the Swedish representatives at the AI Action Summit in Paris. My priority, together with fellow participants, will be to identify synergies and share insights on developing scalable, explainable AI systems, ensuring independent access to AI resources, and defining an inclusive and effective international governance framework — all to strengthen the EU’s position in the global technology market,” says Robert Åberg, CEO of Sigma Technology Insight Solutions.
Yesterday, Robert Åberg and other participating organizations met at the “AI Action Talks” to discuss AI, the green transition and AI governance ahead of the AI Action Summit. The event was led by Christina Beinhoff, the German ambassador to Sweden, and Diane Doucerain, Chargée d’affaires a.i. at the French embassy in Sweden, in the presence of Erik Slottner, Sweden’s Minister for Civil Affairs.
