Samsung Unveils Cutting‑Edge Mobile AI at MWC 2025

Samsung will showcase its latest Galaxy AI features and software solutions at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona from March 3–6.

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. will present its newest AI capabilities at MWC 2025. Representatives from Samsung’s Mobile eXperience (MX) and Network divisions will demonstrate the company’s AI innovations, the latest Galaxy AI updates, and a range of network-focused software solutions.

The presentations aim to illustrate Samsung’s vision for practical AI assistants and how those tools can improve everyday experiences. Attendees will see how AI is integrated across the Galaxy S25 series, the Galaxy A series, and Project Moohan — Samsung’s first XR headset. The event will also offer an exclusive preview of the Galaxy S25 Edge, the thinnest Galaxy S device to date, and explore AI’s potential impact on health and smart home experiences.

Experience the full potential of the Galaxy S25

The new Galaxy S25 series redefines how people interact with smartphones. Beyond advanced AI capabilities, these devices deliver leading camera technology and high performance. The Galaxy S25 lineup is designed to help users complete everyday tasks smoothly and securely. Highlights Samsung will demonstrate at MWC in Barcelona include:

  • Smooth, cross-app experiences[2]: Summarize a YouTube video into Samsung Notes or find and share restaurant details through Messages using a simple voice command. This functionality is available across Samsung, Google, and selected third-party apps.
  • Circle to Search[3] with Google: Perform quick, context-aware searches using a single gesture for relevant results.
  • Gemini Live[4]: Conduct natural, real-time brainstorming or study sessions and receive instant responses with support for images, files, and YouTube videos.
  • Now Brief[5]: Receive timely suggestions and personalized insights through the Now Bar[6] even when the screen is locked.

The Galaxy S25 series also introduces advanced camera features that enhance creativity and discovery:

  • Drawing Assist[7]: Elevate content creation with intelligent sketching tools that help refine and stylize drawings.
  • Gallery Search[8]: Use voice commands to locate photos quickly and efficiently.
  • Filters: Apply unique portrait effects and new filter options to add a personal touch to images.

Attendees can also experience:

  • Snapdragon® 8 Elite for Galaxy: A tailored processor developed with Qualcomm that maximizes performance for high-speed gaming, improved responsiveness, and superior image processing.
  • The ultrathin Galaxy S25 Edge: Samsung’s slimmest Galaxy S design yet, on display alongside the main S25 series.

Samsung will also introduce the new Galaxy A series, including the Galaxy A56 5G, A36 5G, and A26 5G. These models bring Awesome Intelligence to a broader set of users, integrating Galaxy AI features and enhanced camera tools such as Object Eraser. The Galaxy A series expands AI-driven capabilities while offering reliable performance and durability, supported by six OS upgrades and six years of security updates.

Enhancing everyday life with AI

Visitors at MWC 2025 will see how Samsung’s products and services make everyday life smarter and healthier through connected experiences. Demonstrations will highlight features that provide personalized wellness insights — including energy scores, health tips, and sleep analysis — all tailored to individual data and preferences. These insights are integrated with apps like SmartThings and Samsung Food to deliver a cohesive and practical user experience.

Innovation built on Galaxy

Security sits at the heart of Samsung’s AI strategy, emphasizing user control, transparency, and strong protection. In the Galaxy Foundation zone, attendees will learn about the Personal Data Engine[9], which safeguards personal data generated on devices so only Galaxy AI can access it, secured by Knox Vault[10].

Samsung will also showcase its first Android XR headset, Project Moohan. This headset — built for Samsung’s XR platform — aims to deliver an immersive, interactive experience. The name “Moohan,” meaning “infinity” in Korean, reflects Samsung’s ambition to offer boundless, immersive digital experiences. The XR platform will support third-party developers, enabling users to access a wide range of apps and services integrated into the Samsung Galaxy ecosystem.

Attendees can explore these AI innovations firsthand in Samsung’s Galaxy Experience booth at Fira Gran Via Hall 3.

A comprehensive software network powered by AI

Alongside mobile innovations, Samsung will demonstrate how it is driving next-generation AI-enabled networks in a private showcase. As a leading provider of virtualized and open network solutions, Samsung offers end-to-end, software-based systems for operators.

Exhibits will highlight Samsung’s RAN (vRAN) solutions, the latest 5G radio units, and the Samsung CognitiV Network Operations Suite (NOS), an intelligent network automation platform. The booth will also feature enterprise-focused 5G solutions tailored to business needs.

Samsung will present further developments in software-defined networking through collaborations with partners across servers, processors (CPU, GPU), cloud platforms, and transport solutions. Demonstrations will showcase how Samsung CognitiV NOS delivers operational advantages for telecom operators.

A standout area of the booth is the private 5G network zone. In collaboration with Hyundai, Samsung conducted the industry’s first end-to-end Reduced Capability (RedCap) test over a private 5G network. Using advanced private 5G solutions, the partners will demonstrate potential industrial applications for next-generation 5G connectivity, including improved battery life and energy efficiency for 5G IoT devices.

This private showcase will be located in Fira Gran Via Hall 2.
