According to the Netskope AI Index, a trusted source for global enterprise AI adoption and usage trends, adoption of Anthropic’s Claude rose from 56.2% to 94.9% between April 2025 and April 2026. As AI application usage accelerates, organizations are rapidly modernizing their data protection strategies. Ensuring compliance, reducing data policy violations and enabling secure use of enterprise applications are becoming top priorities.

The integration between Netskope and the Claude Compliance API broadens the protections and controls customers can apply to their AI usage and allows security to be embedded directly into Claude workflows. By surfacing Claude activity within the Netskope One console, organizations can manage Claude under the same risk framework, DLP profiles and compliance controls they use today—without increasing operational burden.

Anthropic’s Compliance API is a REST API that provides enterprise IT and security teams programmatic access to Claude activity data. Rather than relying on manual exports and periodic reviews, organizations can use the Claude Compliance API for programmatic, real-time access to usage data and customer content in Claude, enabling continuous monitoring and automated policy enforcement. Administrators can incorporate Claude data into existing compliance dashboards, automatically surface potential issues and manage data retention policies.
Through this integration, Netskope makes Claude activity data visible and enables security teams to do the following:
• Comprehensive visibility across the Claude environment: Automatically discover organizations, workspaces, projects, users, API keys and MCP servers across a full Claude deployment. Identify every third-party tool and data source Claude can access, and manage that access through Netskope’s centralized integrated console.
• Protect data and stop threats: Apply the same DLP policies to Claude Enterprise conversations that protect other enterprise applications. Every file uploaded to or generated within Claude Enterprise is scanned by Netskope’s threat protection and anti-malware engines. Claude activity is also ingested into Netskope’s UEBA engine to detect anomalous behaviors and update each user’s User Confidence Index (UCI), ensuring risky activity in Claude is visible and actionable.
• Ensure audit readiness and maintain control: Continuously assess Claude configurations against GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2 (AICPA TSC), NIST 800-53, CSA CCM and PCI-DSS, mapping findings directly to specific compliance controls so teams know exactly what to remediate and why. The solution enables full lifecycle management for Claude API keys, from routine key rotation and least-privilege audits to identifying stale or orphaned keys and mapping keys to administrators. All capabilities are delivered within existing Netskope workflows without requiring custom implementations.
