Mikael Forsberg Named CEO of SAP Sweden as Antti Soini Moves to EMEA

Mikael Forsberg appointed new CEO of SAP Sweden. Forsberg has held several roles within SAP and succeeds Antti Soini, who is moving to a senior position within EMEA. After more than 20 years at the company and four years as CEO of SAP Sweden, Antti Soini will take up the role of Head of Sales for SAP Services in EMEA.

Mikael Forsberg will assume his new role on April 1, 2026. He will simultaneously continue as the head of SAP Business Technology Platform in the Nordics and Baltics until a successor is appointed.

Forsberg describes the appointment as a significant vote of confidence and reflects on his long journey within the company. He highlights the strong foundation the platform and data team has built and stresses the importance of working closely with customers, partners and colleagues as SAP enters the next phase where data and artificial intelligence converge.

In his new role, Mikael Forsberg will report to Helle Dochedahl, Head of SAP in the Nordics and Baltics, and will be part of the regional leadership team.

Mikael Forsberg lives in Stockholm with his fiancée Nathalie and their three-year-old daughter Stella. Outside work he enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf and traveling. He is also an enthusiastic supporter of Djurgården.

Antti Soini joined SAP in 2006 and has held several senior positions within the company over the past two decades. He has served as CEO of SAP Sweden since 2022.

In his new EMEA role, Antti Soini will be responsible for growing and developing SAP’s services sales across the region. His priority will be to create long-term customer value and help organizations take advantage of SAP’s innovations, including capabilities within Business AI.

Soini describes his time as CEO in Sweden as intense and transformative, marked by rapid technological change and increasing demands on both the private and public sectors. He expresses pride in the work achieved with customers, partners and colleagues and emphasizes their importance to SAP’s current position.
