Three Group has broadened its presence in the global Internet of Things (IoT) market through a new partnership with Cisco Jasper. The collaboration will enable Three’s enterprise customers to deploy and manage IoT services using Cisco Jasper’s industry-leading connectivity management platform, Control Center.
Enterprise clients working with Three will be able to access the Control Center platform through Three’s mobile enablement services division, Hue. The integration combines Three’s international mobile networks and connectivity expertise with Cisco Jasper’s sophisticated device and SIM management tools, providing a streamlined solution for launching, scaling, and maintaining connected device deployments.
Jarrod Nink, CEO of Hue, highlighted the importance of rapid deployment and operational control for companies adopting IoT: “Speed, flexibility and control are key to powering connected devices on a global scale. Through our global footprint of high-speed mobile networks built for mobile data, and Cisco Jasper’s powerful platform, our customers will enjoy an edge in the IoT market for years to come. This partnership will put Three at the heart of the global IoT marketplace and offers huge potential to our enterprise customers.”
The partnership addresses growing demand for a robust connectivity management solution across multiple industries. Three Group expects particular interest from customers in several high-growth segments:
- Connected car – Cisco Jasper has established a strong foothold in automotive connectivity. Control Center is already used by a significant number of major automakers to support telematics, over-the-air updates, infotainment, and other vehicle services. Integrating Control Center with Three’s networks gives automotive customers a scalable path to deliver connected car services across regions.
- Building security and automation – Building automation and security providers increasingly rely on resilient cellular connectivity and centralized device management. Control Center helps these companies manage large device fleets, enforce security policies, and maintain high service availability, making it easier to deploy smart-building solutions across multiple sites.
- Transportation and logistics – Real-time location tracking and access to historical movement data are essential for optimizing fleet operations. The Cisco Jasper Control Center platform offers real-time dashboards, alerts, and analytics that enable logistics and transportation providers to monitor assets, improve routing, reduce downtime, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
Beyond these sectors, the combined offering supports any enterprise looking for a unified method to provision SIMs, monitor data usage, set automated rules, and troubleshoot connectivity issues remotely. Control Center’s policy-based controls, automated workflows, and global coverage are designed to reduce the complexity of operating massive IoT deployments while improving uptime and security.
Cisco Jasper has also collaborated with other partners to deliver connected experiences in the automotive space. For example, Cisco Jasper and Bright Box worked with Honda on a connected-car solution announced at Mobile World Congress. Honda’s MyHonda platform uses Bright Box’s telematics solution powered by Cisco Jasper Control Center to provide real-time insights and controls for launching, managing, and monetising connected vehicle services. That project demonstrates how a managed connectivity platform can support personalised services, remote diagnostics, and subscription-based features for drivers and fleet operators.
For Three and Hue, integrating Control Center opens new commercial opportunities: enterprises can prototype quickly, scale internationally without reengineering connectivity layers, and apply centralized governance across disparate deployments. This lowers the barrier for companies to adopt IoT solutions while giving service providers the tools to monetise connected products and services more effectively.
From a technical perspective, the partnership combines Three’s network capabilities—such as high-speed mobile data services and regional roaming agreements—with Control Center’s device lifecycle management. The coordination allows businesses to automate SIM provisioning, roll out firmware updates, set usage thresholds, and trigger alerts based on custom rules. These features are particularly valuable for operations that need to maintain performance and security across thousands or even millions of connected endpoints.
In summary, Three Group’s collaboration with Cisco Jasper positions the operator as a stronger player in the global IoT ecosystem. By offering Control Center through Hue, Three can provide enterprise customers a comprehensive, secure, and scalable solution to manage connectivity for connected cars, building systems, logistics fleets, and other IoT use cases—helping businesses move faster from concept to commercial service while keeping operational control over distributed device fleets.
