It highlights the best telecom solutions, apps, services, technologies, and initiatives across Asia.
The Asia Leaders Awards also seeks to promote the Philippines as a premier business hub in the region and to acknowledge leaders and organizations that drive innovation and support communities in need.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Eastern Communications launched several initiatives aimed at supporting Filipinos. Its comprehensive campaign, “Safe and Strong at Home,” focuses on helping frontline workers, employees, clients, and the public stay safe and informed during the crisis.
To meet the demands of the new normal and enable continued productivity, Eastern Communications promoted digital tools and services tailored for remote work. Key offerings include Eastern Cloud and Office 365 solutions, alongside the recently introduced Eastern Home plan, a dependable home internet service designed to support work-from-home arrangements.
Among its notable community projects, Eastern Communications partnered with the City Government of Manila to install 34 MNLKonek digital kiosks along España Boulevard, increasing public access to digital services. The company also collaborated with GRID Magazine to publish “One Day in the Philippines,” a magazine issue that showcases a wide range of stories from across the country.
Eastern Communications has also invested in internal programs to empower its workforce. These employee-focused efforts contributed to the company receiving the Best Employer Brand Award at the Philippines Best Employer Brand Awards 2020.
