Dohm Classic White Noise Machine — Fan-Based Sleep Sound
Product description
ORIGINAL FAN-BASED SOUND: The Dohm Classic reproduces an authentic fan-type white noise produced by an internal sound chamber and motor rather than a sampled track. That continuous, natural sound helps mask disruptions like traffic, snoring, or neighborhood noise.
SIMPLE CONTROLS FOR A PERSONAL FIT: Two-speed operation lets you pick a louder or softer baseline, and the rotating outer housing opens or closes the side vents to fine-tune both tone and volume to your preference.
WHAT YOU GET & HOW TO POWER IT: Each unit comes with a 7-foot, 120V AC power cable for standard outlets. It’s a plug-in model only — there are no batteries — and it will resume operation when power is restored after an outage.
BUILD & CARE: The housing is a durable molded plastic assembled by hand in the USA, reflecting long-term quality control. The compact footprint fits on a nightstand or nursery shelf. To clean, wipe the exterior with a damp cloth; avoid submerging the unit.
DESIGN & OPTIONS: The Dohm’s unobtrusive, classic silhouette works in bedrooms, offices and travel setups. It’s offered in several color options so you can match your decor, and its straightforward design prioritizes reliable sound over digital features.

It’s a plug-in device only and doesn’t offer digital extras, but for people who want a proven, durable

Perfect for Light Sleepers
Great for anyone who needs white noise. The volume options let you set it to cover a partner’s snoring, and it’s easy to take on the road. We’ve bought several for family members because it works so well.

Compact, Adjustable and Travels Well
I love how you can manually tune the tone until it feels right. I use it nightly and it noticeably improves my sleep. The small size makes it easy to pack for trips and the simple switch is great for groggy mornings. It’s been reliable and has lasted a long time.

A Lifesaver for Constant Tinnitus
I have severe, ongoing tinnitus and this device has been on almost continuously since I bought it years ago. It provides steady relief and has lasted a very long time. When it finally stops, I’ll buy another.

Sat Unused for Years — Now Essential
I bought this a couple of years ago but didn’t use it until recently. In my new apartment the thin walls and a mysterious nighttime hum made sleep difficult. The Dohm was tucked away in a box until I set it up. The first nights felt strange because I’m used to quiet, but after a few nights I adapted and the steady fan sound now drowns out neighbors and that irritating hum. It’s been a real lifesaver.

So Good We Have Three
I’m a light sleeper and this machine has helped me sleep more deeply by covering city noises and household sounds. We own three — one for our room, one for guests, and one for travel. I can’t imagine sleeping without it now.

Long-Lasting — Replaced After a Decade
My old unit lasted about ten years of heavy use before developing a slight rattle. I replaced it with the same model and appreciate that the design remains simple and effective. The twist-to-adjust vents are useful for dialing in tone and volume.

My Go-To Travel Companion
I’m extremely sensitive to noise and this blocks snoring, barking and traffic. The two-speed control and tone adjustment are very effective. I take it everywhere. Note: it’s made for 120V outlets — I had problems using it with an overseas adapter.

A Night-Worker’s Must-Have
When I worked nights, hotels and noisy hallways wrecked my rest. This model helped me fall asleep faster and reach deeper sleep, even with intermittent noises. It hides sudden sounds that would otherwise disturb the sleep cycle. Highly recommended for shift workers and nurseries.

Finally, Some Real Sleep
We suffered from noisy upstairs neighbors for years and nothing helped until we tried this. It doesn’t eliminate every sound, but it makes awakenings less jarring and easier to drift back asleep. The price was worth it for the relief it brought.

Not Suitable for Use in Europe Without Converter
This unit is made for 110–120V outlets and uses an American plug. It drew a lot of current with my converters and burned out two voltage converters. It’s not suitable for direct use on European mains without a proper transformer.

Keeps the Peace in Close-Quarters Living
After moving to an area with houses close together, neighbor noises like barking, yard equipment and early-morning birds became a real problem. This machine masks those disturbances and makes nights calmer. It’s helped me get deeper sleep despite the close proximity of neighbors and constant outdoor noise.
