Barracuda Networks today launches Barracuda Managed Vulnerability Security — a new, fully packaged service designed to help organizations proactively identify, analyze and prioritize vulnerabilities before they can be exploited. The service is operated by Barracuda’s global Security Operations Center (SOC) and expands the capabilities of the integrated security platform BarracudaONE.
The new offering covers vulnerability scanning and analysis across both network and cloud environments, including devices, servers, firewalls, IoT devices and other connected infrastructure. It detects risks even when they are not linked to known software vulnerabilities.

The service provides visibility into risks without requiring organizations to invest in additional tools or hard-to-access specialist expertise. Customers receive concise reports that include executive summaries and concrete remediation recommendations. This supports security operations and helps meet regulatory requirements such as DORA, NIS2, GDPR, HIPAA and PCI DSS through regular risk assessments and improved readiness for audits.
Availability
Barracuda Managed Vulnerability Security is now available globally via Barracuda’s network of resellers and Managed Service Providers (MSPs). The service can be deployed as a standalone offering or integrated with Barracuda Managed XDR, a 24/7 threat detection and response service powered by AI and advanced threat analytics.
Together, these solutions provide unified protection that streamlines vendor management and vulnerability remediation while strengthening organizational resilience.
