Nordlo launches a new real-time IT security tool that gives companies a clear, visual overview of their cybersecurity. At a time of rising cyber threats, NIS2 requirements and tighter regulatory frameworks, visibility and control are essential for organizations of all sizes.
“We want to make cybersecurity measurable, understandable and actionable,” says Magnus Blomberg, CTO at Nordlo.
Sweden’s national cybersecurity strategy for 2025–2029 highlights growing threats, stricter requirements and the need to strengthen digital resilience.
Many companies, especially small and medium-sized businesses, have limited resources and capacity to meet escalating security demands and threats. They also often lack a clear, organization-wide view of their actual security posture that is easy for everyone to understand.
As part of this initiative, Nordlo is introducing a common Security Baseline for all customers. This baseline integrates with the company’s existing cybersecurity offerings and covers technical safeguards, security configurations, policies and staff training.

“Our approach to identifying, visualizing and tracking security gaps gives executives and boards unique transparency. In an intuitive interface, customers can see in real time which parameters are met and receive concrete recommendations for action.”
This development responds to an increasingly complex threat landscape, heightened regulatory obligations such as the EU’s NIS2 directive and DORA regulation, and national ambitions to bolster resilience across both the public and private sectors.
“Cybersecurity is now a strategic leadership issue. For CIOs and IT leaders, the tool provides solid evidence to justify investments and to demonstrate the impact of implemented measures,” says Magnus Blomberg, CTO at Nordlo.
The Security Baseline will be rolled out in Sweden and Norway following pilot projects, with the goal of full implementation by the turn of the year 2027.
