Louise Moser Appointed CEO of Castra Väst: Leadership Change Announced

Louise Moser Grammatikas steps in as the new CEO for Castra West, bringing extensive experience in business development, leadership and recruitment within the IT and technology sectors. With strong drive, solid commercial insight and a genuine focus on people, she now takes the helm in one of Castra’s most important regions.

Louise trained as a social worker but early in her career shifted her focus to company building and business development. After several years in social services, she moved into the private sector and has since accumulated more than 15 years’ experience in recruitment and consulting.

She has held several senior positions, including regional manager for West and South Sweden and national sales director at a publicly traded company. In recent years she has run her own business, supporting companies strategically and operationally in recruitment, sales and as an interim leader.

“Seeing both people and the business”
What attracted Louise to Castra was precisely the balance many talk about but few achieve:

When I chose to accept the role at Castra, it was largely because the company has succeeded in combining a strong commercial focus with genuinely caring for its employees, all while having a lot of fun along the way – they see both people and the business. Being part of that and continuing to build the company with clear growth plans in a challenging and exciting market, where I must stay on my toes, felt like an obvious choice, Louise says.

“I want to be a leader who walks the talk Louise describes her leadership style as present, curious and clearly goal-oriented, with a strong belief in achieving results together.

– Our consultants will meet a leader who believes in the power of working together, with clear objectives and a sense of purpose. I want to be close to the business, understand our consultants’ daily lives and ambitions, and together create strong partnerships with our clients.

– I want to be seen as a leader who walks the talk. Speaking of walking… I know I’m perceived as someone who finds it hard to sit still; apparently you can hear my quick steps down the corridor from afar. If you call me I’m often on the move, because in my more mature years I’ve learned to channel that energy, and I draw a lot of my motivation from exciting meetings with clients, consultants and candidates.

– Our clients will find me engaged and results-driven, always seeking to understand their business, challenges and goals. I want it to be clear that we create tangible business value in the client’s organisation, both short and long term. The aim is for our collaboration to feel like a natural extension of their organisation, where I and we at Castra take full responsibility for our partnership.

Ready to get started
What is she most looking forward to? In short:

– Everything! Getting started, meeting all our consultants and clients so I can really get to know Castra. The first contract is always special — the trust from the client and the excitement of the colleague who takes on a new, challenging assignment. I look forward to hitting the ground running, if I may use that cliché…

Three things Louise would bring to a desert island
– A portable water purifier, fishing gear and a boat — so I can go home whenever I choose.

We look forward to welcoming Louise to Castra and continuing to develop our operations in the west together. With her focus on both people and business, we take the next step in our journey.
