Konvu Wins Infosecurity Europe Cyber Startup Award — AI to Transform Vulnerability Management

AI-driven cybersecurity company Konvu has been named the winner of the inaugural Cyber Startup Award at Infosecurity Europe 2026 in London. The award was created to showcase the next generation of cybersecurity companies and to recognise innovative startups with finished products and strong growth potential.

The award is organised by Infosecurity Europe in collaboration with UK Cyber Flywheel as part of a wider initiative to strengthen Europe’s cybersecurity ecosystem by creating meeting points for entrepreneurs, investors, customers and industry leaders.

A new platform for future cybersecurity innovation

The Cyber Startup Award debuted at this year’s Infosecurity Europe, one of the continent’s largest gatherings for the cybersecurity sector.

The initiative aims to increase visibility for young cybersecurity companies while helping organisations discover the next wave of security technologies.

Finalists presented their solutions live to an expert jury composed of leading security professionals, investors and business executives. Following the final presentations, Konvu was announced as the winner.

AI-native platform for vulnerability management

Konvu builds an AI-native vulnerability management platform that leverages intelligent AI agents to automate analysis, prioritisation and remediation of security vulnerabilities.

The platform is designed to help security and development teams cope with the rapidly increasing volume of vulnerabilities uncovered across modern IT environments.

According to the company, the challenge is growing as AI accelerates both defenders’ and attackers’ ability to discover new weaknesses, shortening the window between vulnerability discovery and potential exploitation by cybercriminals.

Lucas Masson: “AI must help us operate at machine speed”

Lucas Masson, CEO and co‑founder of Konvu, sees the award as an important recognition of the company’s vision.

He argues that today’s security teams face a mounting problem: the number of vulnerabilities is increasing faster than organisations can analyse and fix them manually.

Konvu’s strategy is therefore to deploy AI agents that can automatically investigate, prioritise and, in some cases, propose remediation steps for identified vulnerabilities.

For a young cybersecurity firm, awards like this also boost market credibility and create greater opportunities for accelerating international growth.

Jury impressed by vision and market focus

Infosecurity Europe reported that Konvu impressed the jury by combining a clear long‑term vision with a concrete solution to a growing cybersecurity problem.

The jury highlighted the company’s platform strategy and its focus on solving real-world challenges that security teams face every day.

Jury members included several well-known figures from the cybersecurity industry, among them Shlomo Kramer, founder of Check Point, Imperva and Cato Networks.

Five startups competed for the title

Konvu was chosen as the winner after competing against four other finalists from around the world:

  • Cytidel – vulnerability intelligence and risk analysis
  • Datambit – AI-based detection of deepfakes in audio and video
  • Ploy – agent-based access intelligence
  • RedCarbon – AI support for SOC teams and incident response

All companies presented their solutions live to the audience and jury during the event.

Part of a larger initiative for cybersecurity startups

The Cyber Startup Award is part of the new Cyber Startup Programme launched at Infosecurity Europe 2026.

The programme includes:

  • A dedicated startup zone on the exhibition floor
  • Investor and founder tracks
  • Networking sessions linking startups and investors
  • Mentoring and advisory programmes
  • The live pitch competition, Cyber Startup Award

Its purpose is to create better conditions for innovative cybersecurity companies to grow and reach the market.

The prize delivers more than a trophy

In addition to the prestigious award, Konvu receives a comprehensive growth package that includes:

  • A free exhibitor stand at Infosecurity Europe 2027
  • PR support from specialised cybersecurity consultants
  • Strategic brand advisory
  • Access to investors and industry contacts

The prize is designed to help promising cybersecurity companies take the next step in their international expansion more quickly.

AI and automation shaping the next generation of cybersecurity

That the first Cyber Startup Award winner focuses on AI-driven vulnerability management reflects a clear trend in the cybersecurity industry.

More and more security organisations are seeking solutions that automate labour-intensive processes and help teams prioritise among thousands of alerts, vulnerabilities and incidents.

Konvu’s success also illustrates how AI is becoming a central component of future cybersecurity platforms, where the combination of human expertise and intelligent automation will be crucial to counter an increasingly fast-moving threat landscape.
