Software company Dynatrace unveiled a series of new, innovative features at its annual Perform 2025 event in Las Vegas. The updates are designed to help organizations become more proactive across AI, security, and development—ultimately driving greater business value.
AI and preventive operations to avoid system failures
Companies today face challenges such as massive data volumes and rising demands for automation. Dynatrace positions AI as the solution. By expanding its platform with new AIOps capabilities, the company is focusing on so-called preventive operations (“preventive operations”). This approach aims to predict and resolve system issues before they develop into disruptive incidents, reducing downtime and lowering operational risk.
Stronger security with Cloud Security Posture Management
Dynatrace also introduced an enhanced Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) solution that provides continuous monitoring and automated handling of security across hybrid and multicloud environments. The goal is to simplify compliance—for example with GDPR—and reduce the need for multiple, separate security tools from different cloud providers. By consolidating visibility and remediation workflows, organizations can save time and lower costs while strengthening their overall security posture.
Observability for Developers — clearer insight into code performance
For developers, Dynatrace is launching “Observability for Developers”, which offers development teams improved visibility into application performance and faster paths to debugging code through a new feature called “Live Debugger.” In addition, the platform extends support for the EU’s new regulatory framework, the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), helping financial institutions and other critical sectors demonstrate operational stability and resilience in their digital infrastructures.
