T.Loop’s Creiman datacenter is now the focus of a strategic partnership between T.Loop and Creiman to develop new datacenters across Sweden. Under the agreement, property consultancy Creiman will assist datacenter developer T.Loop in identifying and securing attractive sites for establishing sustainable AI datacenters nationwide.
The collaboration represents an important step in T.Loop’s ambitious expansion of future-proof digital infrastructure, with a particular emphasis on high-density workloads and artificial intelligence. Demand for compute capacity is rising rapidly as AI solutions, machine learning and advanced data analytics play an increasing role across both private and public sectors. Sweden’s stable energy supply and high share of renewable electricity position the country well to become a leading hub for sustainable datacenters in Europe.
Staffan Stymne, Head of Development at T.Loop, comments on the partnership:
“Creiman brings strong innovation and solid execution capabilities within the property sector. With their broad network and deep experience in property development, we can accelerate T.Loop’s site-matching process and identify optimally located properties that provide the right conditions to host our Data Energy Centers®. ”
The aim of the partnership is to enable a rapid and coordinated expansion of sustainable datacenter capacity across Sweden. Early access to suitable land and properties will allow projects to progress faster, with greater precision and improved ability to meet future requirements for power, availability and energy efficiency.
Niklas Östman, Partner and Head of Property Development at Creiman, sees significant potential in the collaboration:
“We are excited to support T.Loop in their ambitious and rapid expansion of sustainable AI infrastructure in Sweden. Combining expertise in technology and real estate will be highly beneficial for both parties and represents an important contribution to Sweden’s long-term digital competitiveness.”
T.Loop develops, builds and operates datacenters that are strategically positioned to deliver future-proof compute for high-density loads, with a special focus on AI. The company’s facilities are designed for scalability, energy efficiency and operational reliability. Through unique architecture and advanced control systems, T.Loop’s datacenters provide not only computing power but also heat recovery and flexibility services for the power grid. These integrated solutions are branded Data Energy Centers®.
By recovering waste heat from servers, that heat can be redirected to nearby buildings or district heating networks. This reduces carbon emissions and increases societal energy efficiency. At the same time, datacenters can provide valuable flexibility to the electricity grid by adjusting load during periods of high demand, an increasingly important capability in an electrifying economy.
Creiman provides services in business development, property development and project management. As a long-term partner, Creiman helps clients navigate the Swedish property market through the entire process — from early analysis and land acquisition to final establishment. The company works with both private and public stakeholders and maintains a strong focus on sustainable urban development and long-term value creation.
Through the partnership with T.Loop, Creiman will play an active role in expanding critical digital infrastructure in Sweden, while T.Loop will gain access to specialist expertise in property development, permitting, site analysis and project management. This combination will create better conditions for faster launches, reduced project risk and a more structured expansion.
Demand for datacenters continues to grow sharply alongside digitalization, AI development, industrial electrification and stricter requirements for local data storage. Sweden is expected to play an increasingly important role on the Nordic and European datacenter map in the coming years. The collaboration between T.Loop and Creiman is a clear example of how technical expertise and real estate know-how can join forces to meet this demand.
The first joint projects under the partnership are expected to begin in the coming years, with the goal of establishing several new Data Energy Centers® at strategically selected locations across Sweden. The ambition is to build a long-term platform for continued expansion while contributing to a more sustainable energy system.
Rising investment in AI and cloud-based services is increasing the need for ready-to-develop datacenter sites across the Nordics. The cooperation between T.Loop and Creiman will help streamline permitting, improve project execution and support sustainable long-term developments—reinforcing Sweden’s position as one of Europe’s most attractive destinations for datacenter investment.
