Apple has officially introduced the MacBook Air 2025, now powered by the new M4 chip. The refreshed 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models deliver improved performance, longer battery life, and support for multiple external displays. New design and color options – Sky Blue debuts

Additionally, the Midnight finish (black) now features the same fingerprint-resistant anodization used on the MacBook Pro, reducing visible smudges and making the chassis easier to keep clean.
Improved performance and efficiency with the M4 chip
The new M4 chip in the MacBook Air 2025 delivers a noticeable performance boost. Apple claims the M4 is twice as fast as the original M1. While the gains over M3 may be more modest, the M4 still provides smoother multitasking and stronger performance for demanding apps.

Another significant upgrade is the adoption of the same 12‑megapixel Center Stage camera found in the MacBook Pro. The ultrawide lens and the M4 chip’s Neural Engine enable automatic framing that follows the user, making video calls more dynamic and natural. The new Desk View feature also improves how your workspace appears during calls.
Mac Studio receives a powerful upgrade with M3 Ultra
In addition to the new MacBook Air models, Apple has updated the Mac Studio, now available with either M4 Max or the new M3 Ultra chip. The M3 Ultra combines two linked M3 Max processors and represents Apple’s most powerful Apple Silicon chip to date.
