Advania Sweden has achieved Platinum status in EcoVadis’s international assessment of corporate sustainability—an honor awarded to only one percent of companies evaluated worldwide.
EcoVadis is an independent, industry-leading organization that assesses corporate governance and performance across environmental management, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Each company is rated relative to its size, location and industry. A company awarded the EcoVadis Platinum medal ranks among the top 1% of all organizations assessed by EcoVadis and receives the highest level of recognition in the EcoVadis system for sustainability performance.

“Receiving EcoVadis’ highest distinction, Platinum, is clear confirmation that our sustainability work is not only ambitious but embedded across our entire organization. This is the result of long-term, focused efforts that we have built together, and I am proud and grateful for the commitment our employees show every day,” says Helena Nordin, Chief Sustainability Officer.
“For us at Advania, the EcoVadis Platinum award is both recognition of our sustainability work and proof that it reinforces our message about the importance of creating sustainable value through smart use of technology—something our customers and we highly value,” says Fredrik Andersson Alktun, Business Area Manager Workplace.

Advania’s sustainability efforts
Advania is actively engaged in sustainability, reflected in its membership of the UN Global Compact and the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA). Over the past year, the company has made significant progress across several key sustainability areas. Notably, Advania Sweden’s near-term climate targets have been approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), and the company has achieved ISO 45001 certification for its occupational health and safety management.
In addition, Advania has published its first combined annual and sustainability report for 2024, which demonstrates clear progress in climate action, governance and transparency. By aligning its reporting with the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) ahead of mandatory compliance, Advania underlines its long-term commitment to transparent, responsible and forward-looking reporting—well before the rules take effect for the company.
“With our first combined annual and sustainability report published this spring, we can now link long-term goals and measurable climate results with a new reporting structure that strengthens our direction toward a more sustainable, inclusive and responsible digital future. I am pleased to see that this is already making a difference,” says Helena Nordin, Chief Sustainability Officer.
