Snowflake Names Jonathan Beaulier CRO to Lead Next Revenue Growth Phase

Snowflake has appointed Jonathan Beaulier as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), a strategic leadership move aimed at strengthening the company’s global revenue strategy during a period of rapid, AI-driven change. The company also reconfirms its financial guidance for both the first quarter and the full fiscal year 2027.

A central figure in Snowflake’s growth story

Jonathan Beaulier will assume the role on March 31, 2026, taking overall responsibility for Snowflake’s revenue and go-to-market organization. Beaulier joined Snowflake in 2016 and has been instrumental in building the company’s sales organization through a period of significant expansion.

In recent years he has held several senior roles, most recently overseeing major enterprise accounts in the United States. Previously, he led Snowflake’s initiatives in the finance and insurance sectors. His long tenure at the company gives him deep familiarity with Snowflake’s business, customer base, and market strategy.

Stepping in at a critical moment

Beaulier succeeds Mike Gannon, who is departing the company for personal reasons. The appointment comes as Snowflake enters a new phase in which converting technological advances in AI and data into tangible business growth is a key priority.

As CRO, Beaulier will lead the global sales organization, own Snowflake’s revenue strategy and growth targets, drive the company’s global go-to-market efforts, and deepen relationships with enterprise customers and partners.

Strong endorsement from leadership

Snowflake CEO Sridhar Ramaswamy highlighted Beaulier’s importance to the company’s progress. He described Beaulier as a pivotal force behind Snowflake’s success, noting his ability to deliver results at scale and to build strong relationships with both customers and teams.

Beaulier called the promotion a natural next step and said he looks forward to further developing the organization and strengthening the company’s market position after a decade with Snowflake.

Focus on scaling the business globally

In his new role, Beaulier will concentrate on scaling Snowflake’s business globally, with particular emphasis on the enterprise segment. His experience with complex deals and large customers is seen as a key asset for the company’s continued expansion.

The appointment also reflects a broader trend where revenue functions play an increasingly strategic role, especially in companies operating at the intersection of AI and data platforms.

Confirms guidance for 2027

Alongside the leadership announcement, Snowflake confirmed its previously communicated guidance for fiscal year 2027. The company made no changes to its financial outlook, signaling stability and continued confidence in its business model.

A leadership decision with clear direction

Appointing Jonathan Beaulier underscores Snowflake’s focus on continuity, internal expertise, and operational strength. By elevating a leader with deep institutional knowledge and strong customer insight, Snowflake positions itself to continue its growth trajectory in an increasingly competitive global market.
