Pax8, the leading Cloud Commerce Marketplace, today announces that Marc Groetelaars has been appointed Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing with responsibility for Pax8’s European operations, effective February 2026. In this role he will lead the region’s sales and marketing strategy and oversee technical presales.
Marc Groetelaars brings more than 20 years of experience in the technology sector, much of it within the IT channel. He has held senior EMEA leadership roles as Vice President at Eficode, DataStax, Rescale, Zscaler and VMware. Throughout his career he has followed the industry’s shift from local on-premise solutions to today’s cloud-based business models, developing deep expertise in cloud technologies and IT security.
Groetelaars will be based in the Netherlands and will report to Harald Nuij, Pax8’s EMEA head.

With a solid grasp of how emerging technologies like AI and automation can support partners, he is well positioned to lead Pax8’s next growth phase in Europe.
