Pax8 Appoints Avery Moon as New CTO to Strengthen Tech Leadership

Pax8 strengthens its technical leadership by appointing Avery Moon as its new Chief Technology Officer. The appointment is a strategic step in the company’s ongoing evolution as an AI-driven cloud marketplace serving small and medium-sized businesses.

Avery Moon will have overall responsibility for turning Pax8’s product-driven and technical vision into scalable solutions as the platform continues its global expansion. He will report to Scott Chasin, CEO of Pax8, and will play a central role in developing the Pax8 Marketplace as an operating system for intelligent SMB organizations.

Before joining Pax8, Avery Moon held senior roles spanning engineering and science, helping to scale companies from product-market fit to IPO or acquisition on four occasions. Twice he helped build organizations that grew to over one billion dollars in annual revenue.

His background includes work at well-known technology companies and innovative startups such as LinkedIn, Wealthfront and Climate, as well as global corporations like Indeed and Bayer. Moon brings extensive experience building and leading international engineering teams and developing products for some of the world’s largest markets, including the United States, Germany, Japan and India.

Avery Moon graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arizona with degrees in industrial and computational mathematics, economics and business. He was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa in recognition of academic excellence. Outside of work, he enjoys travel and outdoor activities, with a particular interest in hiking and skiing with his family.
