The 7th edition of the Women in Tech® Global Awards, held on 14 November 2024 in Paris, France, celebrated the outstanding achievements of women in and beyond the technology sector. This prestigious event, hosted at the Hôtel de Lassay—the palace of the French National Assembly—served as a platform to recognize pioneering efforts by women leaders who have made significant contributions to their fields.

Women in Tech® Global Awards presented a series of honors, including the keynote Women in Tech® Global Honorary Award, which was presented to Her Excellency Denise Campbell Bauer, the United States Ambassador to France and Monaco. This distinguished award acknowledged Ambassador Bauer’s exemplary leadership, her steadfast commitment to empowering women, and her ability to foster international cooperation and drive positive change across diverse areas.

The 2024 Women in Tech® Global Awards ceremony capped a three-month world tour featuring seven regional award events across LATAM, North America, Africa, Europe, APAC, MENA, and the Caucasus & Central Asia. Inspiring the Next Generation of Women Leaders
Speakers included Marzieh Hamidi, a remarkable 21-year-old Afghan refugee and taekwondo athlete, whose powerful speech deeply resonated with attendees. Hamidi’s journey of survival and determination, combined with her dream of winning an Olympic medal for the women of Afghanistan, highlighted the ongoing struggle for women’s rights in the country and underscored the importance of global solidarity in supporting these efforts.
