Seasonal
12-Inch Metal Yard Light Stakes — 60-Pack for C7/C9 Bulbs
Product description
Package contents: This bundle includes sixty metal ground stakes intended for outdoor string lighting. The quantity is meant to cover a full display and provide extras for replacements or sharing.
Dimensions and design: Each stake measures 12 inches in length and features a top loop with an inner diameter of about 0.67 inches. The bottom tapers to a pointed end to help you press or push the stake into soil, mulch, or softer landscaped surfaces.
Materials and durability: Constructed from galvanized steel, these stakes have a protective finish to improve resistance to corrosion and seasonal wear. The solid metal stem resists snapping during normal use and helps keep lights anchored through wind and light weather.
Compatibility and use cases: Made to hold C7 and C9 style bulbs and their sockets, these stakes are suitable for lawns, garden edges, driveways covered with gravel, and snowy conditions where extra support is needed. They keep strings elevated and orderly for a tidy seasonal presentation.
Installation options: There are two common ways to mount lights. Either thread one strand through the ring, add the clip and rotate to lock a second strand, then insert into the ground; or place the clip into the ring and push the stake firmly into place. Choose the method that works best for your setup and soil conditions.
Pros
- Durable galvanized-steel construction
- Sized for C7 and C9 bulb sockets
- Large 60-piece quantity
Cons
- Top loop can snap if yanked
- Can bend if forced into very hard ground
- Length may be short for deep mulch or taller displays
VerdictA generous 60-piece set of 12-inch galvanized steel stakes that keep C7 and C9 strings organized outdoors. They’re built to resist rust and the pointed ends make planting straightforward in soft to medium soil. The top ring is designed for threading or clipping light strings, but the loop can be vulnerable if pulled hard or forced into very compact turf. Overall a practical, budget-conscious optio

Performs as expected
Does the job — holds lights in place without fuss.

Too flimsy for firm ground
These bent when I tried to push them into compact turf. Only about half were usable and many deformed at the stem or loop.

Found a stronger alternative
Bought these then discovered a different stake style that held better. The other type had better grips, multiple ridges to ease pushing, and a stopper so lights sit at the same height.

Versatile beyond bulbs
Solid pieces — I use them to secure cords and small decorations as well. Plenty of other uses around the yard.

Loop size issue
Top ring didn’t accept some socket styles and the gauge is thin, so pushing into the ground can cause bending.

Good quality but short for my needs
Well made, just not long enough for my project so I returned them. Fine if the length suits your display.

Works well but handle carefully
Useful for shallow outdoor setups, but the loop can snap if you yank the stake out. Pull them up gently and they perform nicely.
